Ex-Black Stars Captain and now Head Coach of Division One side Dreams FC, Charles Kwablan Akonnor has bemoaned the lack of quality pitches in the Country.
The Former Ashgold and Dreams FC Coach believes the Ghana is endowed with lots of talents but the deficiency of quality facilities is taking away the shine of some of these talents.
“We have lots of talents in the country no doubts about it but the problem had been the quality of facilities to improve the game. That has been why some of these talents are not shinning.” He said in an interview with the Joy FM.
Coach Akonnor is therefore calling for more funds to be channeled into the development of quality pitches.
