Chelsea have been offered Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang for £65million after being muscled-out of their move for Romleu Lukaku by Manchester United.

Borussia Dortmund are willing to sanction the deal for Aubameyang, despite his 120 goals in just 189 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit, according to The Sun.

The Brazilian had agreed a two-year deal to join Manchester City and was allowed to enjoy his holidays in peace, but secretly decided to sign for PSG

On July 7, Pep Guardiola had lunch with Dani Alves in Barcelona and talked about the future of Manchester City.

At around lunchtime on July 11, City officials were still expecting Alves to board their flight to the United States at the start of next week. A few hours later, Alves was having a medical at Paris Saint-Germain.

It was the prospect of joining up with Guardiola at City which led to Alves becoming free to decide his own future in the first place.

The Brazilian had had his head turned by the idea of playing for his old boss one last time and Juventus, extremely graciously it must be said, liberated him from his contract.

Like the majority of City's other transfer targets this summer, the 34-year-old had already agreed to the terms of a contract and, with Juve willing to release him, he was all set to become the Blues' third signing of the summer.

Hull City have signed Chelsea defender Ola Aina on a season-long loan. Full-back Aina, 20, made three substitute appearances in the Premier League and one in the FA Cup, and started two EFL Cup games last season.

He is the first major arrival at Hull since Leonid Slutsky was appointed as manager in June.

Douglas arrived in Turin yesterday for a medical and Gazzetta dello Sport says he's agreed a four-year contract worth €7m-a-year.

The transfer will be worth €46m in total.

Flamengo players left the pitch under escort from riot police

Brazilian club Vasco da Gama have been ordered to play home matches behind closed doors after a fan was shot dead during disturbances at their ground.

Vasco's 1-0 defeat on Sunday at home to title-chasing Flamengo in the Rio de Janeiro derby was marred by crowd trouble at the final whistle.

Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho, a former Vasco player, was at the match as the club's guest of honour.

Rodriguez was the top scorer at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with six goals

Bayern Munich have signed Real Madrid forward James Rodriguez on a two-year loan deal with the option to buy.

The 25-year-old, who signed a six-year contract at Real after joining from Monaco for £71m in July 2014, made just 22 appearances in La Liga last season.

He had been linked with a summer move to both Premier League champions Chelsea as well as Manchester United.
