Having led Dreams FC to win their first major trophy by supervising the Premier League returnees to clinch this year’s GHALCA 8 tournament, Karim Zito has been named the head Coach for the Ghana U17 side.

The Coach earned himself the top job after a superlative performance with Dreams FC and Inter Allies where he helped the latter to escape relegation from the Ghana Premier League last season.

Coach Sellas Tetteh

2009 FIFA U20 World Cup winning Coach Sellas Tetteh has been named head trainer for the National Women’s team (Black Queens).

He leaves his position as Technical Director of Ghana Premier League [GPL] side Liberty Professionals to return to National duties.

Tetteh, one of the experienced football managers in the country embarks on a new challenge by handling a women’s national team for the first team having coached the Black Starlets and Black Satellites teams as also worked as an assistant Coach for the Black Stars.

The Ghana Under 20 female team the Black Princesses have qualified for the 2018 Female U20 World Cup in France.

The Princesses beat Cameroon 3-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday to make the finals. Ghana drew 1-1 with Cameroon a fortnight ago and they needed all three points to see them through.

The Princesses started the game the stronger of the two sides and opened the scoring through right back Ernestina Abambila.
