Joseph Agbeko

President of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) Peter Zwennes has described two-time former bantamweight world champion Joseph Agbeko as a fraudulent boxer.

His comments come after Agbeko’s bout against Kenya’s Nick Otieno was called off last week due to some challenges in his opponent’s camp.

But Zwennes has revealed that the Ghana boxing Authority did not sanction the bout between Agbeko and Otieko.

The Patron for the Cape Coast Supporters of Ebusua Dwarfs Bob Stephens has disclosed to ATL FM Sports that the coach of the mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs Ricardo da Rocha slapped him after their match with Asante Kotoko last Wednesday.

According to Bob Stephens, he had approached the coach as a concerned supporter to find out why he delayed in making the necessary changes at the early stage of the game. In the process he made a sign which the coach misinterpreted to be an insult thus rebutted with a slap it took the intervention of the security aide and supporters around to calm nerves.

Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah has accused controversial referee Baldomero Toledo of using profanity against one of his players and also questioned the wisdom of assigning the Mexican-American to the match against Mexico .

Captain of Black Stars of Ghana, Asamoah Gyan, has opened up on what transpired between him and a lady, Sarah Kwablah who accused him of rape.

Gyan admitted cheating on his wife, Gifty with the lady but maintained that they both enjoyed the sex.
Sarah had accused him of raping her in 2015.

The Ghana captain said he met the woman on social media after she sent him a message, and had sex in her apartment later on when he visited Ghana for the 2015 AFCON preparation.
