Kwasi Appiah Meets Ghana Football Association Today

New Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah is expected to meet the Ghana Football Association (GFA) today to finalize issues concerning his personal contract and that of the technical team. ATL FM, can confirm that Ibrahim Tanko, Maxwell Konadu, Stephen Appiah, Richard Kingston will all be part of his backroom staff.

Many Ghanaians have called on Kwasi Appiah not to consider working again with Maxwell Konadu because he sabotaged him during his first era. But Appiah is adamant and will still consider his former assistant Maxwell Konadu as his right hand man competent for the job.

Other positions like the team doctor, physiotherapist, psychologist and equipment officer will all be discussed today at the meeting.

Kwasi Appiah is also scheduled to meet the Minister of Youth and Sports today at the ministry after his meeting with the GFA.

Appiah who is yet to be unveiled as Senior National Team coach has started monitoring talents. He was at El Wak Stadium on Saturday and at Accra sports stadium on Sunday to watch MTN FA cup round 64 matches between Inter Allies and liberty professional, and Hearts of Oak and Sporting Miren respectively.

Appiah faces a busy three months with matches against Ethopiah, Mexico, USA and Burkina Faso.
