Tarkwa based club Medeama have moved ahead of giants Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko to be ranked number one club in Ghana by CAF in the recent African club rankings.
The 2016 CAF Confederation Cup campaigners are ranked 25th, according to a 5-Year Ranking by the continent's governing body, CAF.
Medeama have been the most successful Ghanaian club on the continent in the past five years following their impressive displays in the CAF Confederation Cup in 2014 and 2016.
The yellow and mauve boys featured in the group stage of Africa's inter club competition two years ago and only missed qualification to the money zone by a whisker two years earlier.
