SUDANESE SIDE AL MERREIKH POISED TO SIGN GHANAIAN-BORN NIGER DEFENDER KOFI DANKWAE

ATL FM Sports can exclusively confirm that Sudanese side Al Merreikh is on the verge of signing Ghanaian-born Niger defender Kofi Dankwae. If signed on, Dankwae will assist the team in the next season and also in their participation at the Confederation of African Football [CAF] Champions League.

The robust defender was very instrumental and captained the Menas of Niger team that placed third in the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations which took place in Ghana.

Al Merreikh team which is second on the Sudanese league table negotiated with Kofi Dankwae’s manager so he can join the team.

Talks are currently underway between the management of the defender and the Sudan Club, Al Merriekh to determine his contract and the commencement of his medicals.

Kofi Dankwae has been voted as the main captain of the Nigerien team in Niger.
