Speaking to the media yesterday, the Chairman of GHALCA Cudjoe Fiano said, they have increased their budget of hundred thousand Ghana Cedis sponsorship of Star Times to hundred thousand U.S Dollars as compared to last year. With this (Hundred Thousand Dollars), GHALCA can easily organized the G-8 and the Presidents Cup.

Cudjo Fiano also admitted that GHALCA as an association has lost it shine so he thinks there is the need for them to set up a committee to look at GHALCA and its current form so that they offer assistance to the development of football in Ghana.

GHALCA is yet to launch this year’s tournament and expected two grouping could potentially pitch the two power houses in the country in one group to reignite another classico.
