Ghana Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah has revealed that the final group game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Egypt was meant to be a buildup exercise for the future.

Egypt held Ghana to a 1-1 draw in Cape Coast on Sunday after Mohammed Sikaballa opened the scoring for the Pharaoh’s on the hour mark before Edwin Gyasi equalized with a brilliant strike three minutes later.
