Ghana will be seeking early qualification at the FIFA U-17 World Cup when they face USA on Monday in Group A.

The Black Starlets won their opening match 1-0 over Colombia thanks to a first half goal from Sadiq Ibrahim.

USA thrashed hosts India 3-0 in their opener last Friday.

This will be the third meeting between these two nations in a U-17 World Cup, with the Black Starlets winning the previous two encounters at Ecuador 1995 and New Zealand 1999.

The later contest will be a vital one for hosts India and Colombia, as both sides need points after suffering opening-game defeats.
