The tournament ended last Sunday at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium where Ghana the host, emerged as the winners after beating rival Nigeria by four goals to one in the finals.
The tournament had a slow start in the opening games but jelled up later in the subsequent matches upon efforts put in place by the LOC to get people to the stadium.
Gates had to be opened for free for Ghana matches, tickets were sold at highly subsidized prices to make it easy for people to purchase and media publicity also was also intensified in and out of Cape Coast.
