The Technical team of the Black Starlets of Ghana are yet to receive bonuses, salaries and other allowances due them but they will not disturb them on their quest to make a mark in the world.
The Assistant Coach of the team, Nuhu Ahmed has been speaking to the media and he says they will not underrate any team.
He said, “The Optimism and drive level to deliver is very high whether bonuses or no bonus, the glory is our priority”, he added.
The U-17 African Nations Cup Silver medalist plays their first game against Columbia at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi but the Starlets are poised to make a mark at all cost.
According to Nuhu Ahmed, their preparation for the tournament is solid enough to lift the flag of Ghana high. “We have really prepared from the onset and we are ready to take on the world in this U-17 World Cup”.
Ghana is currently camping in Abou Dhabi and will leave there for India later in the month.
Ghana is drawn in Group A, with India, USA and Columbia.
