President of the Ghana Football Association [GFA] Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi who doubles as the first vice president of CAF has stated that Ghana is ready to host the West African Football Union [WAFU] tournament.
Cape Coast and Elmina stadia are hosting the West African Football Union nation tournament in Ghana which is scheduled for tomorrow at 3:00pm.
The first match is between Ghana and Gambia at 3pm followed by Nigeria vrs Sierra Leone at 6pm.
16 national teams are to participate in the tournament which is scheduled for the 9-24 of September.
The local organizing committee settled on 5 Ghana cedis as gate fees for two matches in the day. Meanwhile it is free for student from primary to tertiary.
Organizers are looking forward to having the various stands filled to capacity.
