Accra Hearts of Oak management member Frank Nelson insist the Club will not part ways with Scottish trainer Frank Nuttall should he fail to win the Ghana Premier League.
Nuttall signed a two-year contract with the Ghanaian Club as the head Coach for the side.
Having won just one out of his four matches played so far, the former England U17 physical trainer is gradually coming under pressure with many doubting his ability to help the Club pick their pieces.
There have also been reports Hearts of Oak might part ways with the 47-year-old should the team fail to end their 8 year League trophy drought.
Frank Nelson in an interview with Starr FM says they will not sack the former GO Mahia manager for failure to win the domestic title.
“We have a contact with him, he just began work, we need to give him time, he is getting to know the players well,” he said.
“Yes of course there is a target for him but it doesn’t mean if he fail to win the title he will be sacked, that is not part of his contract.
“We are giving him all the support he needs and we know he will succeed with the Club, there is still a long way to go in the League.”
Accra Hearts suffered a 2-0 defeat to Aduana Stars over the weekend I Dormaa.
