The leading goal king of the ongoing Ghana Premier league, Nicholas Gyan still insists he is the number one penalty taker for Edusua Dwarfs.
Gyan, who has scored nine goals in the Ghana Premier league missed two spot opportunities in their 16th league fixtures against Elmina Sharks at the Cape Coast sports stadium.
Gyan, speaking with ATL FM said he will continue to take penalty during matches since he is the first choice spot taker for the club.
‘I am still the best penalty taker for Dwarfs. It was unfortunate that I could not score the two spot kicks during our match against Elmina Sharks but that is football for you’, he added.
He concluded, ‘This will not demotivate me for not taking penalties it has rather made me stronger and the edge to continue taking penalties for my club’
Nicholas Gyan, a member of the national team is on his way to join the black stars ‘B’ team at Prampram. The team is preparing to play in The WAFU Tournament which will be hosted by Ghana in September.
