The Ghana Football Association has banned Referee Samuel Sukah for eight matches effective Monday, 9th April, 2018 after awarding a debauched penalty to Ebusua Dwarfs in their match against Berekum Chelsea.

Referee Samuel Sukah's defense at the Committee's meeting was accepted by the committee resulting to his ban.

''The committee after a careful and critical study of the video clip concluded that, you, Referee Samuel Sukah awarded a bad penalty against Berekum Chelsea FC,'' a statement signed by GFA General Secretary Isaac Addo said.

Dr Kwaku Ofosu-Asare Ace sports broadcaster has resigned from his position as Head of Communication and Human Resource of Sport Cul Ghana Limited with effect from 15th March, 2018.

In a press statement, Dr Ofosu-Asare indicated that his resignation was principally based on the long delay by the company in implementing a programme the company launched in November 2016 to assist with the development of sports and culture in Ghana.
