The Black Princesses of Ghana last Sunday advanced to the next round of the FIFA U/20 World Cup qualifiers after hammering the Fennecs of Algeria 5-0.

Priscilla Adubea, Helena Obeng, Philicity Asuako, Vivian Adjei Konado and Grace Asantewaa were the goal scorers for Ghana. Ghana made it to the second round of the qualifiers on a 10-0 aggregate score having defeated their counterparts 5-0 in the first leg match played in Algiers.

The Princesses controlled the game, as they created numerous chances but were unable to penetrate the Algerian defense in the first thirty minutes of the game.

The MTN FA Cup semi-finals match between Asante Kotoko and Medeama has been rescheduled to today Monday October 2, 2017 at 3:00pm.

The game was rained off on Sunday and will be replayed in accordance with the competition regulations at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

Kwasi Appiah

Coach of Ghana Black Stars, Kwasi Appiah on Friday 29th September, 2017 donated items worth hundreds of Cedis to the Widows and Widowers Foundation at Nima in Accra.

The items which included bags of rice, boxes of oil and Mineral Water were given to the widows and widowers as part of the coach's Social Responsibility drive.

Blaming Coach Kwasi Appiah for excluding players from the northern part of Ghana by a section of fans in the Northern Regional capital, Tamale, is overly out of place, completely irresponsible and absolutely unfair to the coach.

Yaw Preko

Former Black Stars player, Yaw Preko has advised the national U-17 team, Black Starlets, to take each match one after the other. Ghana Black Starlets will arrive in India today to continue their preparations for the 2017 u17 world cup in India.

The 1992 Summer Olympic Bronze medalist and current coach of Nigeria’s Ifyeanyi Ubah said, the starlets should not panic but focus on winning the first game and pick up their form from there.

Speaking in an interview with the media, Preko was optimistic that the Starlets would relive the glorious days of the 90’s.

Accra Hearts of Oak sealed a place in this season’s MTN FA Cup final with a hard fought 2-1 win over defending league champions Wa All Stars at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
