President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has promised the Black stars B team US$100,000 for winning the WAFU Cup of Nations. The Black Stars B Team on Tuesday 26th September, 2017 presented the WAFU Cup of Nations trophy to His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo.

The players, technical team members headed by Coach Maxwell Konadu as well as Management members were at the flagstaff House to officially hand over the trophy to the first gentleman of the land. Also in attendance was the President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi as well as the Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah.

Berekum Chelsea

The Chief Executive Officer of Berekum Chelsea, Mr Oduro Sarfo has stated categorically that his outfit is not a hub for rewarding academicians but rather a football club that recruit and train players who have football talents and exploits.

Cape Coast Sports Stadium

The Cape Coast Sports Stadium could host Ghana’s final FIFA World Cup qualifier against Egypt.
