Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kwesi Nyantakyi has announced that he will not contest for re-election when his tenure expires in 2019.
Nyantakyi who was speaking on Joy News on Wednesday reechoed his intention not to vie for the enviable position at the FA again.
” I believe that a time will come when I have to put down my tools, take off my boots and probably pick up another boot”, he said.
Kwesi Nyantakyi was elected into office in December 2005 and has served three terms already. At the last election, he stood unopposed and he seems not to have competition when it comes to local FA elections.
