Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari and former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah

Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari has extolled the leadership qualities of former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah describing him as a better leader of the senior national team.

Appiah who is now the technical coordinator of the senior national team, captained the Black Stars to its first World Cup in Germany 2006 and also led the nation to South Africa in 2010.

To spark off an extraordinary second coming, Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah has called on Ghanaians to throw a massive support behind the Black Stars as they face the Walias of Ethiopia in the 2019 AFCON Qualifier.

Ghana will welcome the Ethiopians to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, a venue the Black Stars have not played there since 2014, in the first game of the qualifiers.

Sulley Muntari’s brawl with Ghana Football Association spokesperson Sannie Darra continues unabated after launching a scathing attack on the Communication Director.

The former AC Milan midfielder is believed not to have a good relationship with Sannie Darra who has been working as the spokesperson for the Nation’s Football governing body for some time now.
