The captain of the Ghana Black Stars Asamoah Gyan has indicated that his team will not take the game against Egypt lightly although their opponents have booked their place to the Russia 2018 World Cup with Ghana having zero chance of making it.

The University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale for the first time has won the Ghana Universities Sports Association [GUSA] Inter Universities Cross Country held last Saturday at University of Mines and Technology (UMAT), Tarkwa.

The National U-20 Women soccer team, the Black Princess beat their Kenyan U-20 Women counterparts, the Harambees Starlets by 5-0 at Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.

Goals were produced by Priscila Adubea who bagged in four goals for the Princesses. Helena Obeng got one to get the Kenyan thrashed in the first leg of the U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier.

The Harambee Starlets gave the Princesses less threat in the game. Helena Obeng on the 8th minute gave the Black Princesses the first goal in the first half of the game.

The Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) has paid tribute to their Late President, Prof. Joseph Kwesi Ogah at the GUSA Cross Country held on Saturday at University of Mines and Technology (UMAT), Tarkwa.

The late President Ogah, passed on last week in the Volta Region after a short illness.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the games, GUSA Vice President, D.K Osafo said Prof Ogah would be remembered for a number of initiatives during his tenure as GUSA President. Notable amongst them, he said, is the current 5year strategic plan.

Black Starlets star, Ibrahim Sulley

The agent of Black Starlets star, Ibrahim Sulley who had a great stint at the just ended U-17 World Cup in India says the youngster will not be sold to Kumasi Asante Kotoko despite interest from the 2016/2017 FA Cup Winning team.

The sixteen year old New Life Player excelled at the Africa U-17 Championship at Gabon and also the World Cup in India and has caught the eyes of many clubs.
