Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has confirmed the appointment of a new management team as part of the new direction the club is heading towards. The club has had several consultation with its stake holders on how the club can become highly attractive again, both on the local and international front.
The club early Monday released a letter to the effect that all members of the old management team have been asked to step down. This was because the Chairman of the club was unhappy with the performance of the management. The dissolved management team, which comprised Lawyer Yaw Boafo (Head of Legal Affairs), Dr. Michael Leat (Head of Medical team), Lawyer Thomas Boakye Agyemang (Accra Representative) and Obed Acheampong (Communication manager) has been asked to step down.
The Kotoko playing body went to Tanzania to play in a friendly with Simba SC in the Simba cup last week. Upon their return, the club seems to be correcting all the errors currently happening by appointing the11 new members to man the club.
Below is the release with the names of members of the new management team.
