Emmanuel Christian Institute (ECI)-Ghana has held its maiden graduation in Cape Coast on the theme “Shaping the destiny of the younger generation, the role of the church.
The maiden graduation ceremony saw twenty-four (24) graduates receive diploma in Theology certificates.
ECI-Ghana is a bible school affiliated to the Connie Welch Ministries in the USA dedicated to providing opportunities for spiritual growth and renewal, leadership, training and theology development for individuals seeking to perfect their Christian calling.
Delivering the keynote address at the ceremony last Friday, the founder and President of Day Star Bible College Accra, Prof. Agyeman Boateng explained the younger generation can be made effective change bearers when their nurturing is done right.

He believes the early indoctrination of the younger generation into the Christian faith will transform society.
Prof. George Agyeman Boateng also reiterated the cardinal role training plays in the holistic development and nurturing of the youth. He said in the acquisition of skills, the youth need to be encouraged to acquire knowledge to the highest.
On her part, the founder of Connie Welch Ministries-USA, Rev. Dr Connie Baylor Welch, congratulated the graduates and advised them to invest in their education.

She said, “Keep learning and invest in your education you are just beginning. Get some serious biblical tools and invest in the gifts and talent that God has given you. Treasure this time that you have, remain humble and do not think that you have arrived because of this paper. Remember that your studies and the knowledge you have gained is not a replacement for your faith in God; keep your faith strong, because after every spiritual victory the enemy is always ready to attack.”
Some dignitaries at the ceremony were, Professor Jophus Anamoah-Mensah (a former Vice-Chancellor of University of Education, Winneba.), Rev. Dr. Issac Koomson, (Resident Pastor, Calvary Assemblies of God, Kakumdo) and other board of directors.
