A month after their demise, the remains of the three children who were found dead in a vehicle in Elmina have been laid to rest.

The funeral which was held on Tuesday attracted a mammoth crowd who lined up to catch a glimpse of the children and pay their last respect.

The three who were aged 6, 5 and 3 were found dead on Monday April 16 by the proprietor of Holly Wood Preparatory School in her KIA Optima Saloon car which was parked within the premises of her school where she also lives.

The suspects in the matter; the Proprietor, Madam Shiny Amissah Dadziebo and her security officer were picked up by police to assist in investigations and were later granted police enquiry bail.

The Elmina Police Commander who briefed the regional minister on the incident when he visited the town last month had indicated that initial assessment of the incident did not point to any foul play though residents point to ritual killing.

The fathers of the children, told ATL FM NEWS they had not received any information on what actually caused the death of their children though the autopsy had been completed and the bodies released to them for burial.

They indicated that at a hearing this week, the matter was adjourned to the end of this month.
