CHRAJ completes Zoomlion investigations after 8yrs

The Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice, CHRAJ, says it has completed investigation into allegations of corruption in the implementation of Zoomlion’s contract with metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies.

Despite an order from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the relocation of the Happy Sunshine Factory, the Factory is back at work in defiance of the authority of the state, and the complaints of Kuntunse residents.

It appears the Municipal Chief Executive for Ga West Municipality, Clement Wilkinson, and the EPA, are at odds as to how the company is back operating once again, after two previous orders to them to stop work.

Empty barrels as fishermen struggle for premix.

In the wake of the uncovered diversion of huge consignments of premix fuel meant for fishermen in the country’s coastal communities, fishermen in the Western Region have told Citi News that the supply of the product has not been regular since the beginning of January 2017.

They say the Nana Addo government started supplying the product on a good note in January, but the situation took a dramatic turn when various scheduled date were violated.
