The Senior Staff Association of University of Cape Coast (SSA-UCC) has launched a new scheme which seeks to address the transportation needs of its members.
The association has gone into agreement with automobile company, Tecede Auto Sales Ltd in Accra to support interested members with cars of their choice on hire-purchase.
The acting chairman of SSA-UCC, Mr. Charles Amos Odoom, at the launch On Wednesday said members have on countless occasions expressed difficulty with their transportation, a situation which affects their productivity. As a means to solve this challenge, an agreement was reached with Tecede Auto Sales Limited which is in Accra to provide vehicles to interested members of SSA-UCC with a flexible payment plan.
Mr. Odoom said the first trench of fifty Toyota cars will be paid within a three year period at very moderate rates. Ten of the total number were presented to the association at the launch for onward distribution to their respective owners.
Mr. Kwame Acheampong, owner of Tecede Auto Sales Ltd assured the association of providing quality vehicles.
