SSNIT holds info shop with a call on students to put their ideas to use

The Director General of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Dr. John Ofori – Tenkorang has urged students of University of Cape Coast to put their ideas into great innovations and business while studying in school.

Citing world-renowned individuals such as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Albert Einstein among others who made great innovations and major successes during their time as students, Dr. Ofori- Tenkorang prompted the students of their bright talents which according to him can be turned to great innovations.

The Director General of SSNIT made these statements yesterday at the Social Security Campaign for students held at UCC.

The Campaign named “SSNIT INFO SHOP” was on the theme “SSNIT, YOUR SECURITY FOR TOMORROW”.

Speaking on Entrepreneurship in his Keynote address, the Director General of SSNIT indicated that the University is a fertile ground for cultivating ideas and dreaming the seemingly impossible and as such, called on students to emulate acts of accomplished individuals to achieve success in life.

Dr. Ofori-Tenkorang reminded the students on the speed of timing and advised them to take the opportunity to join the SSNIT scheme in order to secure their lives in old age and during invalidity.
