Auburn University in USA has donated health supplies worth about 10,000 dollars to the University of Cape Coast Health Services.
According to the Administrator of Auburn University, Dr. Elizabeth Ivy Essamuah Quansah, the donation also includes boxes of learning materials and brails for visually impaired students of UCC.
The donation forms part of collaborations between the two institutions, which within the past three  years have been very healthy and friendly.
Dr. Essamuah Quansah and her team also presented a citation to recognize the efforts of the Director of the University Health services, Dr Evans Ekanem.

Vice chancellor of University of Cape Coast, Professor Joseph Ghartey Ampiah, who received the donation on behalf of the hospital, thanked Auburn University for sharing with UCC and promised to put the supplies to good use.
A token comprising UCC paraphernalia was presented to the team from Auburn University.
