However according to the regional Commercial Manager, the shortfall in production was only due to unavailability of power from the Electricity Company of Ghana to pump water from the Sekyere Hemang and Brimsu Pumping Stations some four days ago.

He said production resumed after twelve hours of power outage. He indicated that speculation that the company had begun a water rationing programme in the metropolis should be disregarded.
