The University of Cape Coast Practice Senior High School is unable to absorb all the 556 fresh students posted to the school by the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) under the free SHS policy.

Overall, the school could only admit 400 students.

According to the Headmistress of the school Paulina Nyankah, the boarding facilities in the school could only accommodate eighty girls and twenty boys and therefore advised parents to look for available hostels closer to the school for their wards pending the completion of the school’s dormitories.

Addressing parents of fresh students, Mrs Nyankah disclosed that school fees, school uniforms, Sunday wear as well as books have been absorbed by government under the free SHS Policy, but parents needed to pay five cedis for PTA levy.
