The Directorate of Finance Welfare Association of University of Cape Coast, has donated two desktop computers and food items to the Cape Coast School for the Deaf and Blind.
The donation was part of activities to mark the association’s 25 years anniversary.
Chairman of the association, Mr. Victorious Yamoah Hagan, said the donation was the association’s support to improve the learning environment for students. He also mentioned the association would consider making their visit to the school a regular one.
On his part, the assistant headmaster in charge of administration, Mr. Emmanuel Abiew, receiving the items expressed his gratitude for the kind gesture.

The pupils of the school, notably Christian Morgan of Talented Kids fame thrilled the guests to exciting music performances.
Members of the association also encouraged the pupils to look beyond their disability and positively impact society.
