Kofi Kinaata has finally disclosed the reason he left High Grade Family after his contract with the music record label came to an end.
He made this revelation on ATL FM's Local Chart Show with Barrister Daniels on Saturday.
According to him, from observation, High Grade Family does not renew contracts of their artists.
"It seems High Grade Family has a pattern where when an artist’s contract comes to an end, renewal doesn’t happen. I think that's the main reason why they make initial contracts long. Stonebouy was there before I joined and he left after his first contract came to an end. That's the same thing that happened to me".
About the VGMA nominations, he said he was satisfied and had accepted the category of nominations he was placed when Barrister asked his opinion on the nominations.
Kofi Kinaata was the main artist for the Hall Week anniversary for Kwame Nkrumah Hall, University of Cape Coast.
