A family member said that Francis Vondee said the burial service will be held at Mafi Adidome in the Volta Region where he hails from.

The soldier who died together with Ghanaian dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns in a gory accident will be buried on Friday, March 23, 2018.
A family member told the Ghana Crusader that Francis Vondee said the burial service will be held at Mafi Adidome in the Volta Region where he hails from.

This means that Francis Atsu Vondee will be buried a week after Ebony.

Francis Vondee met his untimely death on Thursday, February 8, 2018. He accompanied the ‘Maame hwe’ hit maker and Franky Kuri to Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region.

The jeep they were travelling in, slammed into an oncoming ‘VIP’ bus on the Kumasi–Sunyani road.

There were reports, his body had been detained to serve a sentence after a court-martial after his demise but the Ghana Armed Forces refuted the claims, saying they were inaccurate and malicious speculations.

A Twitter user by the handle Cedric Harding said he visited the accident scene where he could see Franky’s iPhone plus screen still at the accident scene.

Meanwhile, Franky Kuri is expected to be buried on March 3, 2018.
