Okraku Mantey’s reaction to my stadium request is bogus - Edem
Rapper Edem has described criticisms by Mark Okraku Mantey regarding his request to the President for a stadium to be constructed in the Volta Region as ‘bogus’.
In a recent interview with Lexis Bill on Joy FM, the rapper opined that he had been underrated and marginalised as a musician because of his geographical background.
The CEO of the Volta Regime Music Group (VRMG) then requested that President Akufo-Addo build a stadium in his region in that interview.

The first runner-up of Big Brother Naija 2017, has revealed that she auditioned for the reality show eight times before she got the nod participate.
Bisola Aiyeola was also the third runner-up of the 2008 edition of the MTN Project Fame West Africa music reality show which was was won by Iyanya.
Recounting her journey to JoyNews’ MzGee, Aiyeola, who is now a Temple Management signee, described her journey as interesting but not without hitches.

Film director and producer Shirley Frimpong-Manso has bemoaned the seeming death of the sale of DVDs in Ghana.
According to her, the non-existent market for DVDs has hindered the growth of the industry because producers are unable to make sales after they finish shooting their movies.
Speaking in an interview with Myjoyonline.com after the press preview of her internationally acclaimed, ‘Potato Potahto” at Silverbird Cinema at the Accra Mall, the producer said the movie industry has simply taken a nose dive.
“The movie industry in Ghana has basically just taken a nosedive, it’s not been the same like the days of the ‘Perfect Picture’, the days of ‘A Sting in a Tail’ we seem to have had an upsurge and it suddenly went away,” she said.
