Ghanaian singer MzBel, born Nana Akua Amoah, has disclosed that she is now a changed person, revealing that she is not proud of some her actions in the past.

Mzbel, who was a guest on the satirical talk show, Tonight starring Andrew Tandoh Adote also stated that when people hear her name, they expect to see a “bad girl character,” contrary to who she is now.

“I am not so proud of some the things I did in the past. ...It looks like how people get to know you from the beginning, is what sticks in their mind. It is very difficult to erase the memory of who you used to be. So it is difficult but I am trying to do my best.”

On countless occasions, some Ghanaian artistes have said their hard work in the music industry has not paid off as they expected.

Others have even shied away from answering the question on whether or not music is fetching them enough money.

The story is however different with Adina Thembi Ndamse known in showbiz circles as Adina.

Nollywood actor, John Okafor, aka Mr. Ibu, has revealed that he is always seen as a foolish and stupid person by most people as a result of the roles he plays in movies.

Mr. Ibu commands a huge fan base and is one of the most popular actors in Nigeria.

The comic actor, who is not entirely happy about his status, said that even when he had something meaningful to say, people don’t take him serious.

While music lovers may perhaps attribute the ‘yenko nkoaa’ hit maker’s flop in the music industry to lots of issues, the singer, Eduwodzi has revealed that some musicians he worked with wanted to kill him spiritually.

His song, ‘Yenko Nkoaa’ which was released in 2010 saw massive airplay across the country and can still vibrate for many years to come.

Telling his sad story on Kumasi-based Abusua Fm, Eduwodzi revealed that a pastor he had consulted during his sickness told him people close to him wanted him dead and had resorted to voodoo in pursuit of their diabolic agenda.
