NDC To Hold Public Lecture on State of Ghana’s Education At UCC

Former President John Dramani Mahama is expected as the guest of honour for the event.

The National Democratic Congress will later today, Thursday April 11 hold a public lecture at the University of Cape Coast.

The lecture which is themed, “The STATE OF EDUCATION IN GHANA, forms part of a campus lecture series by the party to throw light on issues which bother on education.

Former President John Dramani Mahama is expected as the guest of honour for the event.

The lecture which is going to be delivered by the former minister of education and former Vice Chancellor of UCC, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang is expected to touch on key areas affecting Ghana’s education sector of which the Public Universities Bill 2019 is likely to feature.

NDC-UCC Branch organiser, Martin Koomson told ATL FM News the lecture seeks to provide a platform for pungent issues retarding education in the country to be discussed.
