The District Chief Executive of Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira, Mr. Emmanuel Kojo Nannah is embarking on a tour of his district. He says a number of projects were started last year and he is touring the district to inspect work done so far and officially hand over completed ones to the communities in which they are located.
The DCE was recently in the news when a group of assembly Members who call themselves Patriotic Ghanaians called for his removal due to his ill health and alleged acts of corruption at the assembly. The DCE denied this allegation and fingered the Member of Parliament for Hemang Lower Denkyira, Mr. Bright Wereko Brobbey as the brain behind the allegations.
Mr. Nannah says this is the first tour after he was taken ill last year. He told ATL FM News he will be donating computers to some schools in the district.
“I contacted Ghana Infrastructural Fund and they have supplied the computers and there are some projects the Fund is piloting, so I want to inspect those projects and officially hand them over to the communities”.
Mr. Nannah identified the areas he would visit. “The tour would start from Jukwa to Hemang and to other communities on Friday. Hopefully next week, we would look at CHPS compounds and schools under construction, so the tour is this week and next week.”
