The Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP Patrick Adusei Sarpong has called for a reduction in the over politicization of the security system in the country.

According to him, security personnel in the country are not able to effectively perform their duties due to the regular interference from political parties when in power.

As part of activities to welcome them into the region, a courtesy call was paid to the honourable Central Regional Minister, Mr. Kwamena Duncan yesterday.

Two basic schools from Togo are currently on a language emersion exchange programme at the University of Cape Coast. The exchange programme which is a joint collaboration of the University of Cape Coast Basic school, the Cours Lumiere and Canadian International School is to afford pupils from the visiting schools an opportunity to learn, interact with the host’s culture and more importantly, learn the English language.
